Episode 92 – Daang Dokyu in review, Part 1

Let’s take a break from Toronto and come back home to good ol’ Philippine Cinema! (that series will be back next Friday.)

2020’s best local festival to date is the Daang Dokyu film festival, celebrating a century of Philippine Documentaries. In this episode, documentary filmmaker Bryan Brazil joins us as we talk about some of our favorite films in the festival.

Films Discussed:

Ecology – Bullet Laced Dreams (2020)
Nation – May Istorya nga Tayo Patay Naman Tayo (2001)
Taboo – Dreaming in the Red Light (2019)

Notes:

This is the first part of a two part series.
