Major local indie film festivals Cinema One Originals and QCinema, via their respective Facebook pages, both announced on Wednesday their lineups of competing films for 2016. For C1 Originals, the finalists were selected by a panel headed by Ronald Arguelles that included director Jade Castro and critics Oggs Cruz and Richard Bolisay. The selection comprises three documentaries, which have been announced previously, and the following seven new features:
