Filipino fans wanting to catch Joshua Oppenheimer’s haunting documentary The Look Of Silence, block your Thursdays this week. CAMIRA Philippines, in cooperation with U.P. Cineastes’ Studio and U.P. Cine Adarna are hosting the special screening of the Oscar-nominated doc, which “captures the evil of the Indonesian genocide of 1966, and the profound bravery of one optometrist who decides to break the suffocating spell of submission and terror that has lasted for more than fifty years.”
The screenings will be held at the U.P. Cine Adarna at the University of the Philippines – Diliman this Thursday, March 17, at 5:00 and 7:00 P.M.
