Just in: Lav Diaz’s new film Hele Sa Hiwagang Hapis is having its Philippine release on March 26, 2016. The eight-hour epic comes home fresh from its win at the 2016 Berlinale. And knowing that it’s backed by Star Cinema, the country’s largest film outfit, it’s unsurprising to see the film having a considerably wide Philippine release.
