Brad Pitt does seem to be riding the “John Wick” train in this latest trailer for Bullet Train.
It’s been a while since we’ve seen Brad Pitt on his own in an action film. You have Mr. and Mrs. Smith where he meets his match, and then you have The Fight Club where he is paired with Edward Norton and, well, we do follow the first rule of Fight Club so…
And now we’ve got him on this film for which he is seemingly quick to react towards an ensemble of assassins played by Joey King to Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Brian Tyree Henry, Andrew Koji, Hiroyuki Sanada, Michael Shannon, and Benito A Martínez Ocasio. Or are we quick to assume they’re all assassins?
Bullet Train is a fun, delirious action-thriller from the director of Deadpool 2, David Leitch. Brad Pitt headlines an ensemble cast of eclectic, diverse assassins – all with connected yet conflicting objectives – set against the backdrop of a non-stop ride through modern-day Japan.
Directed by David Leitch, screenplay by Zak Olkewicz based upon the book Maria Beetle by Kotaro Isaka.
The film is produced by Kelly McCormick, David Leitch, Antoine Fuqua. The executive producers are Brent O’Connor, Ryosuke Saegusa, Yuma Terada, Kat Samick.
