Ballerina, a new Netflix K-Film comes this October 6

True to form, Ballerina is a new K-film to lookout for on Netflix this October 6.

Netflix is filled with Korean dramas these days, and it’s not just focused on bringing you light-hearted dramas, but stories that are brimmed with passion and revenge-seeking characters.

Just this month we’ve seen Mask Girl hit the streaming giant and has reminded us of the implications of society’s obsessions with beauty, and now a new Korean movie is set to showcase yet another femme fatale out to seek revenge for the death of her best friend.

Here’s what we know so far

Jeon Jeong-so will portray Ok-ju, a former bodyguard who grieves for the loss of her bestfriend she could not protect. She might look familiar to you, other than her portrayal of the Korean version of Tokyo she rose to fame in the 2018 acclaimed film Burning as Haemi. Yes, that beautiful woman dancing across the sunset.

Kim Ji-hoon will play Choi-Pro. He is also notable for his performance in the Korean adaptation of the hit series, Money Heist as Denver.

Park Yu-rim will play Min-hee, you’ve seen her in the award-winning film Drive My Car and in Extraordinary Woo. It is unknown yet what her role will be in the film but expect some amazing performance from her too.

Stay tuned for more info as the movie comes out this October 6 on Netflix.
