Sam Smith teases singing ‘Spectre’ theme

A solitary tweet conquered the Twitterverse as we finally get an answer as to who will belt the theme song of this year’s James Bond installment Spectre.

Over the last few months there is a widespread guesswork of who will be performing the song for “Spectre”. Options contrast from diverse music genres and singers like Radiohead, Ellie Goulding, Ed Sheeran, Lana Del Rey and Lorde as they all partake in the extremely high buzz.

Adele Adkins who won an Oscars for Best Original Song for her transcendent and glorious “Skyfall,” and that extraordinarily set the bar higher for whoever will be following her tracks. Sam Mendes returns at the wheel pressured to overpower what is now addressed as one of the finest Bond films ever made.

The amusing thing about the rumor is Mendes himself confirmed that the theme song has alre
ady been recorded but he wouldn’t divulge who the artist was at the same time Sony and MGM has able to keep the cover on the distinctiveness of the performer.

Not until the 2015 three-time Grammy Award winner including Record and Song of the Year tweets a snapshot of his fingers gentlemanly wearing a ring with the “Spectre” logo. Yes, we are talking about the soul singer-songwriter Sam Smith. From his successful “In the Lonely Hour” album and his latest “Omen” Smith is (hopefully) equipped to accept his first golden statue.

According to HitFix the official theme song of “Spectre” will be released to the public at large today which coincides with the ticket pre-sales as Bond returns in the US.

Opening across the Philippines on November 6, 2015, Spectre is distributed by Columbia Pictures, local office of Sony Pictures Releasing International.
