The folks here at Film Police Reviews are Filipinos and therefore have only a faint idea about football. So, why is the “big game” a significant event for us cinephiles, still? One thing: trailers. Well, most of ‘em are “teasers”, and that we are this year. Through thirty-forty five second spots, we’re further teased of the year’s most anticipated films: Tim Burton’s possibly redemptive sequel Alice Through The Looking Glass; Dan Trachtenberg’s sequel-but-not-really-a-sequel 10 Cloverfield Lane; and the Paul Greengrass-directed five-quel Jason Bourne, which couldn’t have come at a better time than now, post-The Martian and the viral Damon-bun. We get to see more Mowgli and Baloo in the new full-length trailer; and we learn who’s on whose side in the Captain America: Civil War spot. We also get one final promotional wink from Deadpool whose film opens worldwide in just a few days. Finally, we see Psyclocke (Olivia Munn) and Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence) basically outshine everyone in their brief X-Men: Apocalypse spot.
Take a look at all these trailers (and all the other ones I deliberately left unmentioned because I couldn’t care less about them). You know, procrastinate. And as always–you’re welcome.
Sound off in the comments which of these are your favorite!

Bonus Round: Ant-Man and The Hulk fight over a “mini” Coke?
In addition to the trailers we featured above, a 60-second T.V. spot produced for Coke is also released, featuring Ant-Man and The Hulk chasing each other—destroying at least thousands of dollars in property value—for this new thing called “mini” Coke. Unless someone cares to enlighten me, I don’t buy it. This new “little Coca-Cola”, I mean. Take a look:
