So. This is what it has become.
We have officially crossed over (ha! Me and my puns!) to the abyss of no return—the franchise crossovers. You would think it natural for Jason Voorhees and Freddy Kreuger, but not for Sadako and Kayako. You would think it’s Western Spirit, the kind that the East used to not have, yet here we stand.
Director Shiraishi Koji is apparently at helm of the The Ring–The Grudge crossover film, titled—surprise, surprise!—Sadako Vs. Kayako. Yamamoto Mizuki stars as a young woman who, from my understanding, has got to have some luck for shit having been struck with two curses.
